Ultrasonography

We are excited to now offer ultrasonography. Ultrasound is a wonderful diagnostic tool when other diagnostics, such as x-rays and bloodwork, aren’t explaining why your pet is sick. It is a non-invasive procedure with no side-effects. Mild sedation may be needed in order to obtain clear images to send to a radiologist. Veterinary diagnosis and care is greatly improved with an ultrasound and allows us to see disease in real-time. It can help us diagnose cancer, foreign bodies, pancreatitis and many other diseases that we may not be able to see on x-ray.
